The Memphis Spice Box
This month RawSpiceBar came in new and improved packaging. I really love the new look, the bright pictures look so appetizing it makes me want to make the dishes even more than normal. This months spice journey is to Memphis and features 3 yummy BBQ recipes perfect for our summer BBQ meals.
Memphis Dry Ribs
When it comes to BBQ I prefer spicy rubs instead of sweet sauces so this dry rub recipe suits me perfectly. The recipe for this seems very simple and the picture of the final product looks just mouthwatering.
Bacon Potato Salad with Smoked Salt
Potato Salad is pretty much a necessity at every BBQ I’ve ever attended, and this one looks pretty good. If you didn’t know RawSpiceBar has a section on their site with their recipes every month along with extra recipes for the spice blends. I always check this section out just to see what the other recipes are and this month for this blend they have an Applewood Smoked Seasalt Salad with Fennel & Grapefruit that looks so good I will definitely split this mix so I can try both out. You can click HERE to check out that recipe it looks really refreshing.
Triple Spice Ice Cream
Yum Ice Cream! Our last recipe this month is for Triple Spice Ice Cream. I like strawberry ice cream any day but the addition of these spices makes it so unique that I think when I try it I’ll be in for an extra special treat.
Overall Thoughts and Impressions
I think for $6 a month RawSpiceBar is worth the price. You get to try many different spice blends and cuisines, and I know for myself I wouldn’t have tried many of them on my own. I heard that they are working on a shop where we can buy past blends and I’m looking forward to that as well because there are a few dishes that I’ve made and would like to have again.
