ModCloth Review

Today’s post is not a subscription box review but it’s a recent online store discovery that makes me so so happy!

Modcloth is an online clothing / accessories and home decor store they ship to over 50 countries worldwide and I recently made a purchase from them. I’m super super impressed with the quality of the items I received.

I’ve been looking for a 50’s style fit and flare dress for like years! I don’t know why but I’ve just always wanted that style of dress, something about that particular cut of dress that I really think is flattering on just about everyone.

I’m really sorry guys I tried to take pics of the dresses myself but I couldn’t get all the nice detailing to show up properly, so I’m using the pics from the modcloth website instead. grr.. for bad lighting!

Swirls Unfurl Dress in Navy by Chi Chi London

The first dress I bought was the Swirls Unfurl Dress in Navy  I love the stretchy fabric on this dress, it’s really great quality. It’s my favourite dress purchase since my wedding dress 4 years ago! and this one cost sooo much less !

Can’t Stop Glancin’ Dress By BB Dakota

BBDakotaThe second dress I chose was a pink 3/4 length fit and flare lace dress. Originally I was supposed to wear this to a friends wedding but I couldn’t go so I haven’t worn it yet :( The good thing about the modcloth site is that other users post how the dress looks on them and how it fit e.g runs small or runs large in the bust etc. these reviews really help especially when online shopping and you never really know how something will end up looking.

Have any of you purchased from Modcloth in the past? What did you think of the quality and price of the clothing?
