The Mystery Box cost $40 and promised 15 or more products worth at least $100. Even with shipping to Canada at $15 I felt this would still be a good deal. There were 3 boxes to choose from Mom Box , Mom and Baby Box and the Mom-to-Be Box. I chose their Mom and Baby Mystery Bonus Box.Their mom and baby box goes from newborn to 18 months and I have a 17 month old so I thought I’d check this one out.
The Box Shipped out on January 14 2015 and was in my hands on January 22.
Lets review what was in my Ecocentric Mom, Mom January 2015 Mystery Bonus Mom and Baby Box!
The first thing I noticed was how heavy this box was. When I opened it I was pleased to see that it was jam packed full of stuff. 20 items in all. When i signed up I did write in the comments the age and gender of baby G. I`m not sure if they took that into consideration since this was a mystery box, I think they may have though.
Gaia Herbs Liquid Herbal Iron Bottle, 8.5 Ounce $17
This was the reason the box was so heavy. I`ve never tried a liquid vitamin and I`ve just about finished my multivitamin bottle so I`ll be trying this in the next few days.
The Sili Company Sili Squeeze Spill-Proof, Apple, 4 Ounce $12
It`s a reusable food bottle. This will be so useful for when we travel with G. I like the idea of this and hope he likes it. I love the bright red colour.
Dapple Pacifier wipes 10 count $3 & Water Wipes 2 10 count packages $2
Anyone with children knows that wipes are always useful especially when out and about with baby. I use them for cleaning dirty hands and faces mostly. I`m always glad to get sample packs they fit nicely in any bag.
Woo Bamboo toothbrush soft – $5
This is another item that I always have extra of in the bathroom cabinet. I think we have about 6 in the stash right now this one will join them. Another useful item.
Bathtime Baby – Bathing Baby – Hair and Body wash 3oz – $7.50
be Beautiful Earth – Bath and Massage Oil 3.4 fl oz – $9.95
These two bathtime items will get used after my current bottle runs out. They both have a nice subtle smell to them.
Amara dried baby food – Apple flavour – .7 oz 20g $1.50
Sweetie Pie organics mango sweet corn apple – $1.50
Lovely Candy Co- Chewy Original Caramels 2oz – $1.50
I`ve never given G freezedried fruit before, he ate them up I tried them too the sweetcorn was my favourite one in the bag. I`ll need to grab some more of these.
The Lovely Caramels were well Lovely! They were really delicious, soft and chewy.
I haven`t tried the Amara Dried Baby Food yet, not sure if i`ll give it to my son G or his younger cousin.
Family Cloth Wipes – 2 wipes – robot print – $2.00
Eco-Ditty – Reuseable Sandwich Bag- $14.00
I have a bunch of cloth wipes here they are very useful. I use them mostly for bath time and cleaning up after meals. The Eco-Ditty Sandwich bag is super soft and I love the pattern on the one I received.
7th Heaven Detox Mud Mask – $3.00
Savannah Red – beautiful sugar lip balm – $4
5 Checkerboard Thank you Cards – $5.00
In all my years on this earth I`ve never tried a Mud Mask. Well that`s about to change I`m goin to try this one next week. I`m probably much more excited about this than a normal person would be.
The Savannah Red Lip Balm is good it doesn`t have the flavour written on it but it`s something fruity smelling, I like it.
The 5 Cards are really good quality. They don`t have anything written on them other than baby related items so they could be used for different occasions.
The Organic Face – Femme Fatale Eye Shadow Quads in Mesa – $20
Raw Ceuticals – Baby Ceuticals Diaper Creme – 0.25 oz $3
A Place of Healing – Good Night Balm – .5 oz $11
This Eyeshadow Quad has very pretty colours. The Diaper Creme is another useful item that i`ll throw in my bag. The Good Night Balm has what I would call an organic scent. I`m interested to see how this works.
Little Hands Book – Shapes – $5
Baby G loves loves loves books! and I`ve been teaching him shapes for the past few days so this book is perfect. It is a little simple for him but still useful and I think he`ll enjoy it.
Pure Pro C Duo – Silk Hydrating Serum 0.1 oz 3mL – $6
Silk Smoothing Gel 0.08 fl. oz 2.5mL – $7
I`ve never heard of Pure Pro C before but I always enjoy trying out new skin care products.
I can`t tell you how much I liked this box! It was a good mix of Mom and Baby things and all the items are useful. The overall value of the box was approx. $140 that`s an amazing value.
