1. Swedish Beauty EyeShadow Duo in Swedish Winter & Lavender Dream
2. Passport To Beauty Tibetan Goji Berry Anti-Aging Eye Serum With Retinol
There isn’t too much information on Passport to Beauty online maybe they are a new company or my search skills have become rusty. I tried the eye serum and liked it. It was not greasy and didn’t irritate my skin.
3. Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Sensitive
I Love Juice Beauty Products. I’ve never tried any kind of peel before but I’m looking forward to trying it and to see if it makes any noticeable difference in my skin.
4. Daniel Stone COCO Coconut Body Candle in Corail Du Mer
These Candles are made out of Coconut Wax which is a clean burning Wax. I received the scent Corail Du Mer. I love the scent fresh and oceany. It’s also a Body Candle which means that when the wax melts you can use it as a lotion. I’m really enjoying this candle.
5. Half United Fighting Hunger Necklace in Gold
The idea behind this necklace is a great one. For every necklace purchased 7 meals get donated to a child in need. I don’t have many necklaces in Gold so I’m glad I got this colour.
6. Lather AHA Hand Creme with Evening Primrose
I liked this cream it’s rich and thick and a good hand cream. It does have a bit of a weird smell but it fades quickly and didn’t bother me.
7.$30 Fashion Project Gift Card
The Fashion Project sells gently used and new clothing with a portion of the sales going to charity. They don’t ship to Canada but the FabFitFun team worked it out so that they would forward our purchases to us for $8.
8. Zumba DVD & $25 Gift Card
I tried this hour long DVD and it’s Hard! Clearly I’m not in shape. My 17 month old son loved it though so I’ll probably do at least some of this DVD again we had a blast dancing.
The $25 Gift Card wouldn’t work for Canadians out of the box but FabFitFun emailed us new codes to work on the Zumba Canada site that includes Free Shipping. I really appreciate that they did that for us. Great Customer Service FabFitFun.
9. 3 Month Salted TV Membership
Salted TV is a cooking website that helps cooks of all levels learn techniques and of course new recipes. You do need your credit card to sign up for the 3 month membership. I’ve signed up and have watched some videos so far they are informative and nicely done. I don’t know that I would pay $10 a month for the content that’s there right now it’s not very much just yet. I will most likely cancel after the 3 months trial the process seems simple and hopefully will be easy to do.
10. Fruit Infuser Bottle
I got this added to my box after I ordered it and received an email about this promo. I emailed FabFitFun Customer Service and they graciously added it to my order. I’ve wanted one of these for a long while now. So I’m very happy to have this.
There were also Three Sponsored Items in the Winter 2014 box. Some don’t like sponsored items but I don’t mind them I quite like them in fact. Adds a little extra to an already awesome box.
1. Justins Almond Butter – Natural Tasting Nut Butter
2. Organic Valley Organic Balance Milk Protein Shake – Creamy Protein Shake tasted great chilled.
3. Special K Snack Bar in Salted Pretzel Chocolate – I didn’t like this it was too hard and chewy for me.
The total Value of the Winter FabFitFun box was over $383 what an amazing value. it’s one of the highest value boxes that i’ve seen so far. This is my favourite subscription so far. I like the mix of items received and also love that the items are all full size. I’m honestly Impressed with the fantastic Customer Service at FabFitFun between the fruit infuser bottle and the workarounds they provided for the Canadian Customers for the Gift Cards I feel valued as a customer and that means a lot. I am looking forward to the Spring 2015 box.
